Spider Fiber is a design software.
It means that the user shouldn't only know how to use all the functions available, but he should also know the final product which will be manufactured on the original design basis. During the training, held at our Italian base in Ancona, the designer is driven step by step to the software use and to the knowledge of the employed materials in the producing process.
The most traditional solutions are also illustrated, as a starting point towards custom solutions.
The lessons are scheduled on a 2 days basis, for a grand total of 16 hours spent with our design team.

The schedule is:

• software installation and main functions
• the design of a standard genoa and of a standard mainsail
• short essay about the available materials (fibers, film, taffeta) and usage suggestions
• customization of the standard designs on different shapes and dimensions

In the last part is possible (and encouraged) working directly on the designs which the customers are intentioned to produce in the weeks immediately following the training.
