LIbertine cruise during a costal race

After Cala Galera, Capir and Punta Ala successfull races, Comet 45S Libertine’s magic moment goes on. Maurizio Biscardi shipowner’s boat ran with a Spidertech-Banks Sails full set. In light wind conditions (6-12 knots), the boat skippered by Lorenzo Bodini won on overall corrected time. While Libertine was usually fast in windy conditions in the past, upwind performances in light wind were a real surprise, according to the Trieste’s skipper Lorenzo Bodini: < < during the first part of the race, sailing with less than 5 knots northerly wind, we went ahead staying close to the bigger boats: during the first night we were becalmed and we hit a northerly route to follow the wind. Dopo i successi di Cala Galera, Capri e Punta Ala continua il buon momento del Comet 45S Libertine, che corre con vele firmate da Banks Sails Italia realizzate con la tecnologia Spidertech.
